Air Ventilation System Cleaning (Air Duct Cleaning)
Air Quality Services offers lots of experience! We have cleaned over 7000 air duct systems and we recognize that each one is different. We have the expertise to handle your individual situation. You can expect a uniformed, professional and friendly crew who will treat your home or office with respect. There is no cleanup after us! We wear shoe covers, we tarp floors as needed, and we return furniture to its original location. Many of our customers have asthma and allergies, so we are vigilant about cleanliness!
We use superior equipment-the most powerful available. Our state-of-the-art truck mounted equipment is a key factor in superior cleaning. This power is important as the entire system needs to be under negative pressure from the Power-Vac so that nothing escapes or remains in the system.
Air Quality Services offers state-of-the-art equipment using the "source removal" system. The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends "source removal" cleaning as the most effective method of cleaning air ventilation systems.
The duct system is placed under negative pressure, through the use of a specialized powerful vacuum. While the vacuum draws air through the system, various tools are inserted into the return and supply registers to dislodge contaminants and debris. The powerful vacuum pulls the contaminants out of the ducts, removing them from the system. The final steps are to clean the registers, plenum, furnace, heat exchanger, evaporator coil, condensate drain pan, and blower wheel.
Residential, commercial and industrial clients cite three primary reasons to invest in cleaning:
- Reduction of symptoms of asthma/allergies
- Reduction of dust
- Increased efficiency from entire HVAC system, furnace and ductwork.
Commercial and industrial clients also use our services to reduce smells from their facility, reduce dust to prevent fire, and to control rodents.
Construction/Remodel clients have systems cleaned to prevent construction debris from moving throughout the building once the HVAC system is operating.
Clean systems offer improved air quality, have a longer life span and operate more efficiently.

Air Treatment - Filtration and Purification
Air Quality Services offers the finest ultraviolet, filtration and ozone technologies to meet your air treatment needs. Call us today to learn how we can help you keep the air in your home or business clean and pure!
Air Quality Services has partnered with Sanuvox Air Purification Systems. This Ultraviolet Light (UV) air purification system uses the newest technology to eradicate bacteria, viruses and mold and to destroy chemical and biological odors. Sanuvox UV technology is perfect for ongoing air purification needs. Good examples include a situation where smells are manufactured on an ongoing basis, such as in a nursing home, child care center, pet center or paint store. Air purification systems are also used in a residential/office setting where severe asthma or allergy sufferers are looking for relief.
The UV system is installed in the ductwork of the building. As air passes through the equipment, it is slowed down so that the air flow goes slowly past an ultraviolet light and has some "dwell" time in front of the light. The light sterilizes the air and oxidizes the smell, and then the air is sent on to the occupied areas of the building. This is a very effective system and we have had remarkable results. Sanuvox is a leader in the field of UV technology for air sterilization and has a great guarantee on a great product!
Air Quality Services has partnered with Dust Free® to bring you the finest in electrostatic air filters.
The Enviro-Duct filters replace your disposable filters with no extra installation. They remove significantly more dust, pollen, lint and animal dander than typical throw-away filters. The naturally electrostatic filter attracts and holds particles, preventing them from entering your air system. These affordable, permanent, washable filters give a lifetime of service, providing cleaner air benefits for the entire family. You can clean them as often as you wish! They will also save you money on your energy bills since cleaner air conditioning coils are more efficient and cost-effective. Standard and custom sizes are available.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
According to the National Fire Protection Assoc., washer and dryer fires are the leading cause of home fires and the major cause of dryer fires is a failure to clean them! In 2010, more than 16,000 dryer fires caused over 50 deaths and over $200 million in direct property damage in the US.
When a dryer vent becomes clogged with lint, it is inefficient, resulting in longer drying times, increased utility bills, and increased danger of fire. Lint is combustible, and when dryers can't expel hot air and lint efficiently, dryer damage and fire can occur. Most dryer damage and fires could be prevented with simple, proper vent maintenance. A professional cleaning from Air Quality Services will not only improve the efficiency of your dryer, thereby reducing your utility bill, but will also drastically reduce the risk of dryer damage and fire.
Don't delay - Call us today to schedule your dryer vent cleaning! Prolong the life of your dryer, lower your utility bills, and help keep your family and home safe and sound.
Fireplace and Chimney Cleaning
With proper chimney care, chimney fires are preventable. However, while fire prevention is always a major concern, unseen blockages can also prevent proper draft ventilation, thereby decreasing the efficiency of your fireplace and increasing your risk of smoke entering the home
The black shiny buildup inside your chimney is called creosote, and it is highly flammable. It is created when substances given off from burning wood exit the fireplace or wood stove and flow up the chimney. As the hot smoke travels through the relatively cooler chimney, condensation occurs and creosote is formed, clinging to the chimney walls. Certain conditions tend to encourage the build-up of creosote, such as a restricted air supply, burning unseasoned wood, lower temperature fires, and a cooler-than-normal chimney.
Many people don't know if they need to have their chimney cleaned, so an annual inspection and cleaning are recommended. Air Quality Services also recommends having your chimney cleaned when you have just moved into a home, as you don't know the cleaning or use history of the chimney. If you are uncertain as to whether you need a cleaning, it is better to err on the side of safety and have your chimney checked.
Filter Change Contracts
For our commercial and industrial clients, we also offer Filter Change Contracts. This is a service that lets us take care of your air ventilation system filters. Our philosophy is that it's better to be be proactive in keeping air systems clean than it is to pay expensive repair costs and have higher utility bills. We supply and install highly efficient pleated filters on a scheduled basis to help keep your system running at maximum efficiency.
O3 - also known as ozone - is a form of oxygen that is a strong cleaning, purification and oxidizing agent.
Odors, bacteria, mold, mildew, smoke and carbon monoxide create a health hazard and annoying smells. Ozone is used to remove these contaminants and eliminate odors. Please call or email us to discuss your needs.
